A different approach
At Quintessence Photography, I will hold your hand every step of the way. Here's the thing: We all have hundreds (thousands!) of photos on our phones and hard drives, from baby photos to wedding coverage that we've been meaning to organize and... do something with? The prospect of sorting, compiling, and getting them printed and framed is just one more stressor in your already busy life.
I believe memories and people are worth preserving forever, and that the best way to achieve that is through printed images and heirloom artwork. I design our session and work with you to create art around you and your loved ones. My goal is to get albums and framed art in people's homes so those images and moments can be enjoyed for generations.

Whether we capture a simple afternoon walk, an epic day on the slopes, or a mountaintop ceremony, my goal is to take the pressure off the photography experience so you and your loved ones can enjoy the moment. If you're not comfortable in front of the camera, don't worry: I'll be there to guide and help focus you (and snap the shutter when you're not looking!) It's gonna be awesome!
It's Adventure Time!
I call them "adventure" sessions because my goal is to capture genuine moments while guiding my clients so you look your best. I want to help you preserve and communicate your story through imagery. All I ask is that you bring your authentic selves.
Where are you based and will you travel?
I am based near Topsham, ME, and am willing to travel. I grew up in Maine so I know the good locations, and I'm constantly learning of more exciting places to explore.
When do we receive our artwork?
Lab processing varies depending on the season and your specific artwork. I double check every piece for quality before delivering it to my client. If it's not right, I'll send it back to the lab for correction. I typically deliver artwork within 2-3 weeks of the ordering appointment.
